A Brief Introduction About Ourselves...

Wang Xiaoyan - Tammy Wang

5 years of living in the hometown doesn’t leave too much memory, except that it gives access to the dialect--Chaoshanese, which is regarded impossible to learn to the non-locals. Then moved to Shekou, Shenzhen, where so far is still the place she spent most of her life in--12 years. Then moved to Guangzhou for university education. Got a bachelor’s degree in Economics but knows practically nothing about it.

University has been a breeze, so after 4 years of fun, luck brought her to another place--Nanhai, and started working in Sales Dept in an American Company of leather production. The work in Nanhai has not been one step upwards the career ladder but she made a different achievement in life by getting married.

In end of 2005 she went back to school, this time Fashion Design, a field where she thinks she belongs. It’s been a joyful experience and so far very happy for the decision. Life has not traveled too far yet, so at the moment doesn't have too much adventure to share yet. Fluent in English, can fool you by making you think she knows more Spanish than she actually does. So is in other Chinese dialects like Hakanese and Taiwanese.

Born in a small city in the South of Brazil a long time ago, from a family of German immigrants. Fluent in Portuguese and English, do some damage in Spanish, forgot most of the German he learned during childhood. Ashamed of the poor command of Chinese after being in China for a long time.

Started to work in the production line of a shoe factory at 13 years of age, while attended school at night.  Changed to be an office clerk at the age of 17. After spending one year in the army joined the production administration of another shoe factory. Later changed careers joining a Trading Company. This opened the horizons, giving opportunity to international traveling.

Arrived for the first time in Guangzhou, People's Republic of China in the foggy evening of March 20, 1995. Always dreamed of getting to know Asia but never thought would be living in Mainland China. Used to read about the mysterious places in this corner of the woods and is really happy to be able to interact, work and live with the Chinese.
